Meet priscilla
at a glance: I deeply understand the emotional and mental struggles individuals face when trying to recover from an eating disorder and accept their bodies in a fat phobic world because I've been there, but I also have the clinical tools to help folks heal from the root of those struggles.

Here's a sampling of the clients I love to work with:
- A woman in her mid-20s who has been in eating disorder recovery for some time. She's made strides in her relationship with food but still feels uncomfortable with her body size, often struggling with body shame and negative self-talk. She wants support to break free from these lingering feelings so she can live more confidently.
- A woman in her late 20s, often a high achiever, who struggles with perfectionism, comparison, and a tendency to criticize her appearance. Although she no longer engages in disordered eating behaviors, her body image issues impact her confidence in professional and social settings, and she’s looking for ways to reframe her thinking.
- An individual who has recently undergone a big life transition (e.g., graduating college, moving, changing careers) that has affected their body or relationship with their body. They find themselves feeling out of place in their body and want tools to ground themselves in self-acceptance and build resilience through these changes.
- Women who feel a heightened sense of discomfort or shame in social settings, especially around friends or family. She often feels as though she doesn’t “fit in” physically, and her anxiety stems from a fear of judgment or comparison. She wants support to reduce her self-consciousness and gain confidence.
- An individual who has spent years in the diet cycle and has only recently stopped engaging in restrictive behaviors. They're finding it difficult to accept the weight they have gained in recovery and feel uncomfortable shopping for clothes or being in larger spaces. They want to break free from the urge to diet and learn to feel at peace in their body.
- A woman preparing for her wedding who is struggling with the pressure to “look perfect” on her big day. She’s dealt with disordered eating in the past and wants to enjoy this time in her life without resorting to unhealthy behaviors or constantly fixating on her appearance.
- A college student who has healed their relationship with food but struggles with their body image, especially on campus and in social settings. They're frustrated by the lingering self-doubt and are looking for support in building a positive body image as they navigates young adulthood.
a closer look:
My mission is to create a compassionate and empowering space for individuals in recovery from disordered eating and body image struggles. Through a blend of personal empathy and clinical expertise, I guide clients to heal from within, challenging deeply rooted beliefs and fostering self-acceptance. Together, we work to break free from shame and self-criticism, nurturing resilience and a renewed sense of confidence so they can live fully and authentically in their bodies.
OBjects in the rearview mirror:
Here's a little more about my background:
- I show up as the eating disorder and body image therapist I needed during my own treatment journey. Recovery is messy, and through my lived experience, I bring an anti-carceral approach that honors client autonomy. My practice is rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) principles and an ED-informed approach to support healing in a compassionate, client-centered way.
- In addition to my lived experience, I have had the honor of supporting clients therapeutically in recovery at all levels of care (Inpatient, Residential, PHP, IOP, Outpatient, and Coaching).
- I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and working towards my Nutritionist credentials through NASM (p.s. This is not a substitute for working with a dietitian, this credentialing solely helps me bridge the gap between providers and provide more support for my client's with this additional education).
