queer Affirming art therapy
Art is a language of authenticity and empowerment.

I want to provide a safe, affirming space where you can explore your identity, heal from past wounds, and embrace your authentic self, free from judgment and full of possibility.
If you are hesitant to start therapy due to uncertainty that your therapist will be affirming of your identity, you are not alone.
As a queer-identifying therapist myself, I strive to bring a deep understanding and acceptance of diverse experiences and identities into my work.

Through using art therapy in conjunction with talk therapy, I am dedicated to supporting you in exploring your identity, healing, and self-expression. From the pride flag to Sappho, artmaking holds a deep significance to many in the queer community, and I want to leverage a rich history of queer art to engage you in changing your life using creative processes.
Some themes we may explore in our work together include identity, relationships, grief, body image, shame, and joy. I am also trained in providing letters for gender-affirming medical transition.
You do not have to have any experience with art to work with an art therapist. I am prepared to guide you in your artmaking journey as we discover what works best for you.
