Meet Hannah

at a glance:

"From moments of shame and ugly crying to deep belly laughing, my goal is to provide a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are. Through using art materials to explore and process your story, I’d be honored to join in on your journey of embracing the full range of the human experience."
I am passionate about working with:
  • Folks in the queer/lgbtqia2s+ community looking for affirming and safe care
  • Adopted teens and adults hoping explore how adoption has impacted their life
  • Adoptive parents seeking to learn how to support and understand their adoptive relationships
  • People of color who are curious about the complexity of race and hope to deepen their cultural identity
  • Neurodivergent individuals who want to work with and understand the way their brains are wired
  • Those who are interested in self-exploration and expression through therapeutic art making

A closer look:

I'm so glad you're here, and I’m happy to share a bit more about what our sessions might look like together. My approach is rooted in curiosity, empathy, kindness, and—when appropriate—gentle challenge. I encourage you to set the pace and direction of our work, always honoring that you are the expert of your own experience.

I often invite deep reflection and exploration, but I will always respect your boundaries and readiness to engage with certain topics. I believe there is power in understanding the origins of our emotions and finding authentic, safe ways to express them. Together, we’ll build a personalized toolkit to help you navigate life’s challenges, deepen your self-understanding, improve relationships, and move toward the life you want.

I also offer art therapy as part of my practice. Whether you're a seasoned artist or someone who only draws stick figures, I believe art therapy can benefit you. In our sessions, art can serve as a powerful way to express emotions, stay grounded, make sense of experiences, and more. Sometimes, words just aren’t enough—and art can help capture what feels too complex or challenging to say
