Meet Brooke
at a glance:"I want to create a space where you can bring your laughter, your tears, your failures, and your
victories. As an art therapist, I am prepared to hold space for your stick figures, your wobbly lines, your insecurities, and your growth! Let’s make messy, imperfect, truthful art together." |
Here’s a sampling of the people I love to work with:
In addition to individual and couples therapy, I also facilitate an art therapy grief group for young adults 18-40 (learn more here).
- Teenagers (learn more here) and adults navigating life changes, such as career, family, or lifestyle shifts
- Teenagers and young adults who have experienced grief and loss (learn more here)
- Couples looking to enrich their connection and improve communication (learn more here)
- LGBTQIA+ teens and adults who are seeking affirming care
- Neurodivergent teens and adults (ADHD, Autism) who want to embrace and support their unique brains
- People who feel “lost” and are struggling to find a sense of self or identity
- People that want to improve their emotional awareness and emotional regulation
- Adults and adolescents that are struggling with low self-esteem or feelings of shame
- People who might feel that their words cannot fully express their feelings and experiences

A closer look:
If you often find yourself getting stuck in your own head, you’re not alone. Sometimes words just can’t fully express the true depth of our feelings and experiences. Art therapy is for everyone. Whether you’re an experienced artist or you haven’t touched a paintbrush since grade school, there is space for you here.
Alongside talk therapy, we may use art materials in the therapy room to help you view your challenges from a different perspective, uncover inner truths, and communicate the things that might be too hard to say out loud. It is my hope that as we walk alongside each other in the creative process, you will discover your most authentic self.
While therapy is not always easy or comfortable, some examples of benefits that you may experience through this process include better communication and relationship skills, greater knowledge of how your personal history and environment have affected your well-being, feelings of empowerment, and strategies to reclaim your life. However, every case is highly individualized; I will work with you to understand your needs and develop personal goals that are appropriate to your reasons for seeking therapy.
