art therapy for grief & loss
We can never go back to becoming the person we were before facing loss,
but we can create new ways of discovering joy, connecting with others,
and finding purpose in our lives.

and finding purpose in our lives.
Grief is a normal and universal part of life; you would not be human if you did not feel deeply in the face of loss, but that does not mean that it is easy to navigate. Loss often shatters our idea of what we thought our lives would be, and suddenly we are left with the pieces.
I want to walk alongside you as you pick up the pieces and reconstruct your life in the face of loss. Rebuilding your life does not mean that you are forgetting or “moving on” from your loved one, but rather that you are re-learning how to exist in the world without your loved one in it.
In addition to grief and loss, I commonly help people experiencing:
~Difficulty navigating life changes, such as career, family, or lifestyle shifts
~Low self-esteem or feelings of shame
~Emotional awareness and emotional regulation
~Couples counseling and premarital counseling
~Teens and young adult issues and adjustments

I use art therapy in addition to talk therapy to give you a physical way to honor and remember your loved one. Often words cannot capture the depth of our grief, but creating artwork can present us with a way to express and connect beyond words.
You do not have to have any previous experience or expertise in creating artwork to work with an art therapist. I strive to create a no-pressure environment where we can explore, create, honor, remember, connect, and discover.
Give yourself the support and space you need to grieve and heal. I would be honored to work with you during this tender time.
